Elvis Presley and Jimi Hendrix have written indelible pages in the history of music, leaving an incredible artistic legacy that has influenced generations to come. Now their music is ready to resonate thanks to the I Miti del Rock project, which on 14 and 15 January 2020 will animate the stage of the Teatro Nuovo in Milan.
Love Me Tender, My Way, Always on my Mind, Suspicious Minds, a moving Are you Lonesome Tonight, dedicated to Elvis himself and many others.will come alive thanks to the great Elvis impersonator Joe Ontario, star of the musical ”Elvis The Musical”, with his concerts he has performed on the biggest Italian and international stages. I saw that show and I have to admit that I was shocked by the similarity to the King of Rock, and the power of impeccably re-enacting Elvis hits.
On Jan 15th The Jimi Hendrix Revolution (Andrea Cervetto’s voice and guitar, accompanied by Alex Polifrone’s drums and Fausto Ciapica’s bass), will tribute Hendrix playing songs like Foxey Lady, Purple Haze and Hey Joe.
