I remember I took her to Bussana Vecchia, a little village above San Remo, Ligury,  devastated in 1887 by a terrible earthquake. All the rotten houses were given for free to young artists to work and create their pieces, trasforming Bussana into an art center. She loved it ! Maybe that was the inspiration for this beautiful lyrics.
